my name is weston. i’m a creative and language learner with a bachelor’s degree in spanish and a deep interest in how people communicate, learn, and tell stories.

i grew up in southeastern minnesota before moving to Los Angeles in 2015, where i spent five years working in entertainment.

language learning has been a constant thread in my life. studying spanish at the university level pushed me to think differently about culture, identity, and what it really means to communicate with another human being. that perspective now shapes how i approach both creativity and learning.

today, i’m back in the midwest and based in western wisconsin, where i continue working on photography, aerial imagery (i’m a part 107 certified remote pilot), and writing about language learning and the experiences that make up my professional and personal life.
